Spalding Base Ball Guides, 1889-1939 provides digital copies of thirty-five of the guides, considered one of the premiere publications of its time. Included in the guides are editorial from noted sports writers, photographs, the rules of the game, analysis of the players and teams and information on minor league teams. Also included are guides on indoor baseball, a popular game of the time.
