White House Holiday Social

To kick off our presence on Pinterest, we're inviting our newest followers to join us for a Holiday Social at the White House. Pinners will be invited to check out the décor, meet with the people that helped transform the White House for the holidays, join us for a craft project — and share it all with their followers on Pinterest.

What is White House Social?

White House Social is an in-person meeting of people who engage with the White House through social media, including Twitter, Facebook, and Google+, and now, Pinterest. Building off of the White House Tweetup series, the White House invites people that engage with us online to participate in face-to-face meetings.

Past White House Social events have included a Twitter Town Hall with the President, a Tweetup Briefing with Press Secretary Jay Carney, a Let's Move! Tweetup for the First Lady's garden harvest, a Republic of Korea Arrival Ceremony Tweetup, a Holiday Open House Tweetup, a State of the Union Tweetup, and a United Kingdom Arrival Ceremony Tweetup. We also hosted the first-ever White House Google+ Photowalk during the Spring Garden Tours in April 2012.

How do I register?

Registration opens at WhiteHouse.gov/social at 12:00 p.m. ET on Saturday, December 8th and closes on Sunday, December 9th at 5:00 p.m. ET. Invitations are non-transferable and we can not accommodate additional guests.
