How can I vote for Obama & Obama Care if Petty Officer Lima is simply without medical coverage through the U.S. Navy or Veterans Affairs? Since April 2012, Rob Lima is being abused by the Navy system and there is no one from the military chain of command supporting him from his nefarious wife Ashley Lima. Again, I am saying it as it is, thereby exercising my constitutional rights, the 1st amendment freedom of speech. Rest assured Rob Lima's family and relatives (50+ members) will not vote for Obama if this political scam isn't resolved before it's time to for presidency. Again, what is General Stocks doing? It's his duty to train military troops or dig his claws in Roberto R Lima's divorce and custody case, which also is delaying his retirement since April 2012. Not only is General Stocks helping a pathological liar Ashey Lima & her lawyer Richard Healy but evidently General Stocks does not care about Rob Lima's healthcare nor Makayla Lima's welfare, safety & well-being as she is being abused & neglected. Rob Lima is a military man going on 12 years of honorable service. Seems like there's no return in honor, is there?

Enough is enough, I am exercising my 1st amendment of the constitution, the right of freedom of speech. When is the military going to stop interfering with Roberto R. Lima's "civil" case? The military is taking advantage of an innocent person and has been treating him unfairly. Because his wife Ashley Lima and her attorney Richard Healy contacts Walter Reed Hospital issuing threats, false allegations of abuse and posting social media attacks. It has only affected Rob Lima's health and medical retirement. Mind that he is currently in a state of remission from "magilant cancer" in the meanwhile absorbing all this "undue stress". Obviously the Navy does not care about their military service members, rather only listening to "nefarious civilians". When is this going to stop and General Stocks going to protect his own military troops? Again General Stocks has no reason to be involved in Petty Officer Lima's cival matter. While it's only harming my niece Makayla Lima's well being and her fathers paternal rights. How ridiculous is it that Rob Lima signed his separation from the Navy paperwork and pull the plug the day before his discharge day. Since April 2012, Rob has now being seen by 9 doctors after being approved to be medically retired permanently. Something needs to be done about this, this is not the American way.

  2. Recently I selected a list of books as part of a program designed to enhance the professional development of our U.S. Navy Sailors and civilians: this is the Professional Navy Reading Program. It's designed to help us learn more about our profession and heritage through reading relevant books. I encourage you to take a look at the list!

  4. Met today with a great bunch of officers and civilians at the New Flag and Senior Executive Training Symposium and at the Department of the Navy Leadership & Career Training Symposium. Two fantastic symposiums -- I spoke to them about where our Navy is today, where we are going tomorrow, and their important role in Navy’s plans and strategies. Thanks to both groups for your meaningful conversations about relevant topics that impact our Sailors, civilians, and their families. I look forward to resolving our Navy challenges together!
  5. Finished a magnificent symposium here in Venice with maritime colleagues from 39 different Navies. I had the opportunity to lead a session with terrific insights. We shared many great ideas and observations from recent operations and their influence on future platforms. I look forward to taking what we've learned here and applying it to future operations and concepts. Special thanks to my counterpart, Chief of the Italian Navy, Adm. Luigi Binelli Mantelli for hosting such a valuable conference. U.S. Navy
  6. Good to be with my counterparts at the Regional Seapower Symposium in Venice, Italy. This is a great opportunity to build relationships, share lessons learned, and discuss recent operations and future implications on force structure. You can watch us live at:

  8. Darleen and I enjoyed a Great Birthday Ball last night! The drill team, the band, the voice, the speaker, the camaraderie and the energy -- all very impressive! Thanks to the National Capital Council of the Navy League and the Naval Historical Foundation for hosting a wonderful event -- and a special thanks to all those that had a hand in making the event possible. Enjoy the pictures.

  16. Kicked off a special week of celebrating our Navy's 237th Birthday today with shipmates and senior defense officials in the Pentagon auditorium. This year is particularly special because we also commemorate the 200th anniversary of the War ...
of 1812. We reflect on our legacy and heritage -- remembering those people who paved the way for us, and shaped world events. This morning, shared three enduring lessons from the War of 1812, that apply today and beyond -- technology, confident & proficient crews, and bold & accountable leaders. Today, our U.S. Navy is on track, and on good course and speed. I am proud of our great legacy and the support of all our Sailors, civilians and families. Happy 237th Birthday!

s ship come to life with the spirit of a hero in a great Navy city. DDG 112 joins the finest class of ships in the world -- centerpiece of our fleet, it is the most flexible, high tech, lethal and multi-mission capable ship of its kind. Like its namesake, LT Michael Murphy, this ship will assure, it will protect and it will deter -- and like its motto, it will "Lead the Fight!"
