Call for Nominations

Annually, ACPM recognizes individuals for significant contributions, dedication and service to the College and preventive medicine. The Awards Committee is currently accepting nominations for the following awards: Distinguished Service, Ron Davis Special Recognition, William Kane Rising Star, and Donald Gemson Resident Award. ACPM's Nominations Committee is also pleased to announce the Call for Nominations to fill upcoming vacancies on our Board of Regents. Elections will be held in early-2013 for the following positions: President-Elect, Aerospace Medicine Regent, Central/Southwest (Regional) Regent, West (Regional) Regent. Learn more about award categories and nominations process here. Future Leaders in Preventive Medicine Travel Grant

ACPM is pleased to offer eligible candidates one of ten $500 travel grants to attend Preventive Medicine 2013 (ACPM's annual meeting). Eligible candidates must be medical students, who are ACPM members, and interested in preventive medicine and public health. Application deadline is December 7, 2012. Apply online.

Preventive Medicine 2013

The ACPM's Annual Meeting, Preventive Medicine 2013, will be held February 20-23, 2013 in Phoenix-Scottsdale, AZ. The Annual Meeting is a wonderful opportunity to network with colleagues, learn more about the latest research and developments in preventive medicine, and earn CME and MOC credits! The 2013 ACPM membership renewal cycle will begin in October 2012. We encourage you to login to your membership profile, and update your contact information. Keeping your membership profile current helps ensure you continue receiving important news, updates and other information from the College.
