ASB Night with the Philadelphia Soul

The Philadelphia Soul hosted ASB night at their April 20th home game against the Tampa Bay Storm.  ASB employee Patti Lariccia and guide dog Finnegan where on the field for the opening coin toss along with ASB President and CEO, Pat Johnson.  ASB had an information booth set up in the concourse where a video highlighting client success stories was played, and also had a 30 second PSA played on the jumbotron throughout the game.

Soul Coin Toss

The game was broadcast nationally on the NFL Network, as well as on ESPN Radio 950.  At the beginning of the second quarter of play, the house announcer asked all those in attendance to close their eyes.  The Wells Fargo Center then fed the radio broadcast from ESPN Radio 950 throughout the arena.  The purpose of this exorcise was to give the crowd a better understanding of how the blind and visually impaired community experienced the game.
