The number sign, dots 3, 4, 5, 6, placed before the characters a through j, makes the numbers 1 through 0. For example, a preceded by the number sign is 1, b is 2, etc. | ||

A free national library program administered by the National Library Service for the Blind and Physically Handicapped provides braille and recorded materials for blind and physically handicapped readers. | Persons who are unable to read standard print material because of visual or physical impairment may borrow, free of charge, braille and recorded books and magazines on a wide variety of subjects for all age and reading levels.
