Biographical Writings on Patsy T. Mink

Originally compiled and published in slightly different form by the Congresswoman Patsy T. Mink Commission, a Hawaii state commission whose members included a Library of Congress representative. At the end of its term in December 2009, the Commission authorized the transfer of some of its Web site content from the Hawaii Department of Accounting and General Services to the Library of Congress and other entities.

Mink” entry) This official Web site provides biographical information on past and present Members of Congress.  Each entry also includes a list of relevant manuscript collections held in public repositories and a short bibliography of works by or about the member.

Women in Congress, 1917-2006 (“Patsy T. Mink” entry) This Web site, based on the 2006 book Women in Congress, 1917–2006, contains biographical profiles of former women members of Congress, links to information about current women members, historical essays, and images.
