EHP Collections
Each month EHP publishes peer-reviewed Commentaries, Research, and Reviews from a wide range of scientific disciplines as well as a fully referenced, expert-reviewed News section. EHP Collections pull together previously published content on topics of special interest to our readers, offered as searchable pdf files.
Because children are uniquely sensitive to their environments, EHP devotes a research section each month specifically to issues surrounding children’s environmental health, and each year the October issue is largely devoted to these topics. Our annual Children’s Health Collections comprise peer-reviewed research articles (including reviews and commentaries), news articles, editorials, and podcasts published the preceding October through September. These are divided into two main sections—Disease Outcomes and Exposures—with more specific topics within each. With each research article is a brief summary of the objective and results, and each title is hyperlinked to the full article on the EHP website. News articles, Editorials, and Podcasts are listed in sidebars with the related research.

Bisphenol A (BPA), one of the highest-volume chemicals produced globally, is found throughout the environment. Many studies have shown BPA to have estrogenic activity in vitro and in vivo, making it a topic of ongoing interest to the toxicology and regulatory communities. The BPA Collection includes abstracts of dozens of BPA-related Commentaries, Reviews, and Research Articles published between 2007 and 2011. Each title is hyperlinked to the full article on the EHP website. This collection is divided into four sections—Toxicology, Epidemiology, Exposure, and Regulatory Science.
