TRANSCRIPTION
Con mansedumbre y ternura
y señas de un fino amor,
les previene a sus discípulos
la última cena el Señor.

Y con mucha caridad,
que en los mortales no ves,
después ya de haber cenado,
les lava humilde los pies.

Luego consagró su cuerpo
y con cariñoso afán,
y les dio escondido
entre accidentes de pan.

English Translation

With docility and tenderness
and signs of a fine love,
he prepares for his disciples
the last supper of the Lord.

And with much charity,
that in mortals you do not see,
after having eaten,
he humbly washes their feet.

Later he consecrated his body
and with loving zeal,
he gave it to them hidden
in the morsels of bread.
