OFFICE OF THE DIRECTORNOTICE TO BIDDERS SUBMITTING HAND-CARRIED SEALED BIDS When a bidder or bidder's representative delivers a bid directly into a GPO office, the following procedures are to be followed: 1) All paperwork will be completed and sealed within an envelope before handing the bid to a clerk to be time stamped. The company name, job number, and bid opening date should appear on the outside of the envelope. 2) Do not lay the bid on a counter top, table, or desk and assume that the clerk has seen you do so. Get the clerk's attention and hand the bid to the clerk. 3) When submitting a bid within a few minutes of the bid opening time, get the clerk's attention immediately. Do not assume that the clerk has seen you, especially if the clerk is involved in another task. Questions or comments regarding the contents of these pages, or GPO Printing Procurement? |
