Updates for Bidders

SPECIAL NOTICE EFFECTIVE OCTOBER 1, 2010

The U.S. Government Printing Office is in the process of streamlining and improving our processes. Previously, Small Purchase quotes were accepted from the vendor via facsimile, email, and through our on-line Contractor Connection application. As of October 1, 2010, GPO requires submission of quotes through Contractor Connection/Quick Quote only, unless otherwise instructed. This change will eliminate handling delays and improve accuracy of manual transcription of quotes into the GPO system. Solicitations issued after this date will specify the use of Contractor Connection to submit quotes along with any other special instructions.

Any problems submitting quotes via Quick Quote must be reported prior to Quote Due Date and Time.

Contractor Connection can be accessed at http://contractorconnect.gpo.gov/. This site was developed as an on-line application for vendors to register and update their information, see what’s new, learn how to do business with GPO, view bid opportunities, submit quotes, and get unofficial bid results. To make sure that you do not miss your opportunity, go to Contractor Connection now (https://securessl.access.gpo.gov/CC/register.aspx) and update any necessary information.
