Welcome To Tudor Place - A National Historic Landmark

NEWS & EVENTS

Happy 2013! It's always a good time to support the Annual Fund!

Now is also the time to finalize plans for a historic Presidential Inaugural weekend,
with new ways to experience it here! Hosting an event in 2013? Consider scheduling a
"historic" meeting, party or group program at Tudor Place.

Please note that Tudor Place is closed during January but for a unique
four days of inaugural teas, programs, and tours.

Special Tours Offer Fresh Takes on
Tudor Place Stories and Artifacts

Tudor Place Special Tours, available by reservation, offer new ways to experience the National Historic Landmark's stories and contents. Select a Curator-Lecture Tour to hear from Curator Erin Kuykendall about collections highlights including the Square Piano, the doll collection, or conservation findings from the Washington Waxwork or Mount Vernon plateau. Focus Tours offer new views of the property at the regular admission price, along themes covering the lives of women; stories of servants and enslaved workers; the Washington Collection; and the historic gardens. You can also join us for periodic Landmark Society lectures by renowned experts. These options, as well as picnicking, tea-and-tour events, and other novel ways to enjoy and learn at Tudor Place.
