Scope: This Web Archive contains Web sites of Representatives, Senators, Delegates and Committees of the 108th United States Congress (2003 - 2004). Each Member's Congressional office is solely responsible for its own web site, as is each Committee of Congress.
Members of Congress from the District of Columbia, the Virgin Islands, Guam, and American Samoa are called delegates. The representative from Puerto Rico is the resident commissioner. Delegates are elected for a two-year term. The resident commissioner serves a four-year term. These Members of Congress may vote in committees, participate in debates and make speeches on the floor.
The 108th Congress Web Archive includes multiple captures of Web sites for Members of 108th Congress as well as House, Senate and Joint committees.
This collection is part of a continuing effort by the Library of Congress to evaluate, select, collect, catalog, provide access to, and preserve digital materials for future generations of researchers.
