The Senate late Wednesday approved a bill that will rename a U.S. Postal Service carrier annex in Macomb Township, Michigan, as the Lance Cpl. Anthony A. DiLisio Clinton-Macomb Carrier Annex, to honor a Macomb Township resident who was killed while on patrol in Helmand province, Afghanistan. Sen. Carl Levin, D-Mich., serves on the Senate subcommittee with oversight of the U.S. Postal Service. Sen. Debbie Stabenow, D-Mich., joined with Levin in requesting that this bill be passed. The House unanimously approved the bill last month.
