Creative Characters of Copyright
What do Mark Twain, the Statue of Liberty and Detective Cop E. Wright have in common? These characters and others will teach you about copyright and how to protect your own creative works. ALSO: See the schedule for the Copyright Table, below.

Connect to Congress
Access the Law Library’s website and connect to Congress; locate federal, state and foreign legal resources; and talk to Law Library of Congress staff about the world’s largest collection of law books and legal resources.

Local History & Genealogy (Saturday only)
Uncover your roots and develop your family tree using the Library’s genealogical research tools.

Digital Preservation
The National Digital Information Infrastructure and Preservation Program will present advice for preserving personal digital information, including photographs, videos, web pages and more. Staff will answer questions and offer bookmarks and informational handouts. Historic computer media and hardware will be on display.

Preservation
Conservators will answer questions about preserving your personal materials. Samples of preservation products and a list of referrence resources will be available. Preservation staff will hand-sew small decorative books.

Prints & Photographs
View slideshows of popular photo collections, participate in a photo captioning game and peek into the Library’s photo-sharing activity on Flickr.

Veterans History Project
The largest oral history project in America will be conducting interviews with men and women who served in the U.S. armed forces during major conflicts.

World Digital Library
The World Digital Library will show you how to discover, study and enjoy cultural treasures from around the world on a single website, in a variety of ways and in seven languages.
