Building the Digital Collection

The Ohio Historical Society received an award in the 1996/97 round of the Library of Congress/Ameritech National Digital Library Competition to support the digitization and bringing together items from number of individual sources. Sources for this collection include: manuscript collections, newspaper articles, serials, photographs, pamphlets. Bibliographic records were delivered to the Library of Congress in Microsoft Access for indexing as part of American Memory. The image files are hosted at the Ohio Historical Society.
