Inauguration Tickets

The 57th Inaugural Ceremony of the swearing in of the President of the United States will take place in Washington, D.C. on Monday, January 21, 2013.

Due to the high demand for tickets, Congressman Loebsack's office will hold a lottery to distribute tickets to residents of the Second Congressional District. The deadline to register to receive tickets has passed and the lottery is now closed.  Those who are chosen will be notified at a later date with additional information about claiming their tickets and events surrounding the Inauguration.

It is expected there will be a variety of events that will not require tickets, including a public viewing area of the Inaugural ceremony on the National Mall and the public Inauguration parade. Iowans unable to attain tickets through Congressman Loebsack’s office are encouraged to monitor the Inauguration Planning Committee website, http://inaugural.senate.gov/, for further details on non-ticketed events.
