Acknowledgments

These films were previously released on videotape by the Library of Congress as The Library of Congress Video Collection, volume 3:Origins of American Animation, 1900-1921. The films were selected by Scott Simmon, who also wrote the liner notes. Piano scores for these films were composed and performed by Philip Carli.

Work on the digital presentation was performed by the National Digital Library Program team in the Motion Picture, Broadcasting and Recorded Sound Division, composed of Hussein Hassan, Judi Hoffman, and Karen Lund, and by Marc Dudley of the National Digital Library Program production group.

Framework materials were compiled by Karen Lund. Judi Hoffman created the catalog records. Hussein Hassan created the thumbnail images. Digital quality review was performed by Marc Dudley.
