Pic of the Week: A Capitol Sunset

A few weeks ago when I was working late, I looked out of the window from the elevator lobby on the 5th floor of the Adams Building and saw this lovely sunset over the Thomas Jefferson Building.  As I stood there admiring it, I was glad I had my digital camera so I could share it with the readers of Inside Adams.

I like the picture sufficiently enough; however, if he would have rolled the blinds up, he would have had a masterpiece. Oh well!

Lovely! You should submit it to Andrew Sullivan’s blog for the “View From My Window” feature so everyone can drool.

Grilli – I so wish I could roll up the blinds but those blinds are between the glass panes and can only be turned. Very frustrating when trying to take a pretty picture!
