ArtFact
ArtFact lists over 4,000,000 unedited entries from public auction
records since 1987. A typical entry lists the date of sale, the
auctioneer, the lot number, the low and high estimates, the actual
selling price, and the complete auction catalog description. Although
ArtFact includes records for the fine arts, antiques, collectibles,
and jewelry from auction catalogs around the world, the primary
emphasis is art and decorative art produced in the U.S. and to
some extent in Britain. Searching of the indexes is free but requires
user registration; a fee is charged for access to full-text information.
