    A different angle, but the entrance to Tivoli was unchanged in September 1963 - and I am sure it is still the same. If you were rich, you probably came by carriage. If not, perhaps in a horse-drawn omnibus like the one at lower right of the original. Or you walked, like most of the people in the original photo.

    The entrance seen at night in November 2009. It all looks the same as back then. Tivoli is the number one tourist attraction in Denmark with about 3,5 million visitors pr. year.
