Surprising to see just how little the State Fairs have changed over the years .... save for the enormous rides!

An interesting note on the cavas banners in those days.A very few survive from the 30's
thru the end of the 40's.All were hand painted in those days and some have sold in fair
condition for 6000.00$.Some painted by very well known artists of the era.Some are absolutely truly a master work.An old one in good condition from a major circus or well
known Carni could fetch 10K.....................so if you are lucky enough to have one don't leave it in the barn.
