    A very humble abode. It is neat and tidy because people back then didn't have, and couldn't afford, mountains of STUFF to clutter up their homes. If you had some things you didn't need or use, you gave them to someone who did need them.

    The reason it looks this this is because the woman said she hated here home to Evans, and he re arranged everything so that it was more aesthetically pleasing.
