Jeffrey Toobin appears at the 2012 Library of Congress National Book Festival.
Speaker Biography: Legal writer Jeffrey Toobin graduated magna cum laude from Harvard Law School, where he was an editor of the law review. He has been an assistant U.S. attorney in Brooklyn, N.Y., and in 1993 went to The New Yorker, where he still works as a staff writer. Toobin is also a senior analyst for CNN and is the author of five books, including the New York Times best-seller "The Nine: Inside the Secret World of the Supreme Court." He received an Emmy Award in 2000 for his coverage of the Elian Gonzalez custody story. His new book is "The Oath: The Obama White House vs. the Supreme Court."
