    Udall Speech on the FISA Amendments Act

    Mark Udall gives a speech on the Senate floor encouraging his colleagues to amend the FISA Amendments Act (FAA) to better protect Americans from having their communications collected under this law. Udall also encouraged his Senate colleagues to include in the bill better reporting requirements so Congress and the public can know if Americans have had their e-mails and phones calls collected under the FAA.

    Speech #27: New Mexico and the Wind Energy Production Tax Credit

    Mark Udall spoke on the Senate floor this morning pushing Congress to pass an extension of the Production Tax Credit for wind energy. In his 27th speech, Udall focused on the economic impacts of wind energy production in New Mexico - where wind energy supports more than 500 good-paying jobs and powers more than 200,000 homes. Udall was followed by Sen. Tom Udall of New Mexico, who also highlighted the wind industry's benefits for job creation and energy security. Udall will continue to urge his Senate colleagues to pass the wind Production Tax Credit.
