Eileen Spinelli is a noted writer of books for children, as well as a poet and creative-writing teacher. This award-winning author has been writing since she was 6 years old. She writes books in prose as well as poetry. Her awards include the Christopher Award and the Illustrators Magazine Merit Award for fiction. “Callie Cat, Ice Skater” and “Together at Christmas,” both published by Albert Whitman & Co., are among her newest books.
