Jeffrey Eugenides

National Endowment for the Arts fellow Jeffrey Eugenides won the 2003 Pulitzer Prize for his critically acclaimed novel “Middlesex.” His previous novel was “The Virgin Suicides,” which was made into a film by Sophia Coppola. Eugenides has also published stories in The New Yorker and elsewhere. He was raised in Detroit and says the city has heavily influenced his work. His new novel is “The Marriage Plot” (Picador).
