Mr. and Mrs. Byron Coffin, Sr. were popular Barbary Coast entertainers from about 1898 to 1906 and again around 1910. They were known as Byron Reno and Pearl Reno. "The Renos" were the first to sing "Casey Jones" in the San Francisco Bay area. Mr. Coffin is still called "Casey" by his friends.
