This set includes all maps and atlases digitized and made publicly accessible by the Library of Congress Geography and Map Division through the
Map Collections page in American Memory.
The focus is Cartographic Treasures of the Library of Congress and Americana, broadly interpreted to include exploration, immigration, wars and other overseas historical events.
Also included are individual maps beyond this focus, selected for digitization for other reasons.
Map records are added monthly.
