With this first supplement, the Program for Cooperative Cataloging (PCC) Secretariat presents 27 webcasts in an online course created and intended for independent AACR2 Name Authority Cooperative Program (NACO) participants who are making the transition to RDA: Resource Description and Access for authority work. The course consists of filmed lectures, hands-on guided sessions, online exercises, and follow-up Q&A webinars, with a brief review period following the successful completion of the modules. Speaker Biography: Jessalyn Zoom is Cooperative Cataloging Specialist in the Cooperative and Instructional Programs Division of the Library of Congress. Ms. Zoom conducts name authority training for PCC libraries, and she established the PCC Chinese-Japanese-Korean NACO project. She trains Library of Congress staff on Capitol Hill and in the Overseas Offices in RDA.
Speaker Biography: Joan Biella is a Librarian Cataloger in the Library of Congress Acquisitions and Bibliographic Access directorate. She works with materials in Hebrew and Arabic, moderates the Heb-NACO listserv for Hebraica and Judaica catalogers, and is the Library of Congress liaison to the NACO Hebraica Funnel Project.
