Guide to Latino Holdings In The Microform Reading Room

Compiled by Teresa Victoriana Sierra and Pablo A. Calvan

Following is a list of materials in the Microform Reading Room which are of interest to readers doing research on or about Latinos in the United States. Latinos are a very diverse group including different races and "parent" countries. They also share common Amerindian, Iberian and African roots, and, in recent years, a hightened awareness of being a distinct group of Americans with a history and culture which is rich and abundant.

Items in this list are briefly annotated to highlight relevance as deemed necessary. Guide numbers for collections have also been included. _Quicksilvers_ (microform finding aids located in the
MicRR) nos. 7, 9, 10, and 12 may also be of interest to resarchers in this field. Other relevant materials in other parts of the Library can usually be identified using standard research techniques and the assistance of reference librarians.
