AFC 1942/007: Seamus Doyle South American Recordings
Fifty-three 12-inch discs of music recorded in Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Peru, and Uruguay, by Seamus Doyle, July-September, 1941, while Doyle was on tour with the Kirstein American Ballet Group. The collection includes Doyle's six-page journal entitled "Report on the Collection of Folk Music in South America" and a detailed song list including performers, titles, genres, recording dates, and locations. AFC 1956/005: Luis Felipe Ramón y Rivera and Isabel Aretz Recordings of Folk Music of Argentina and Venezuela
Two 10-inch tapes of traditional music and songs, including dance music, carnival music, and religious songs, from various regions in Argentina and Venezuela. Recorded by Luis Felipe Ramón y Rivera and Isabel Aretz (Mrs. Ramón y Rivera), directors of the Venezuelan Institute of Folklore. The collection includes a one-page partial song title list, "Folklore Musical Argentino." [catalog record]

One and 1/4 linear of inch of manuscript materials detailing the music and dances of various regions in Argentina. The collection includes correspondence and notes.

AFC 1948/038: Charles W. Furlong / Fuegian Songs Recorded in Patagonia
Five 16-inch discs, copied from 12 cylinders, of Fuegian songs (including Ona (or Selknam) and Yahgan (or Yamana) Indians). AFC 1995/001: 1995 Neptune Plaza Concert Series Collection
Documentation of the monthly 1995 Neptune Plaza Concert Series, which consists of manuscript materials, sound recordings, photographs, and moving images of performances of zydeco music, lindy hop, bluegrass music, Hungarian folk dance and music, gospel music, and Argentine tango recorded live outdoors on Neptune Plaza in front of the Thomas Jefferson Building, Library of Congress from April through September 1995, sponsored by the American Folklife Center and the National Council for the Traditional Arts.
