AFS 5691-5743: Seamus Doyle South American Recordings
Fifty-three 12-inch discs of music recorded in Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Peru, and Uruguay, by Seamus Doyle, July-September, 1941, while Doyle was on tour with the Kirstein American Ballet Group. The collection includes Doyle's 6-page typed journal entitled "Report on the collection of folk music in South America," and a song list including genres, performers, and titles.

AFS 5718-5719: Two discs containing 7 Uruguayan folk and dance songs featuring guitarist Ramon Ayestaran. Recorded in Montevideo, Uruguay, July 1941. (15 minutes; tape copy on LWO 4872 reel 385A)

AFS 11,881-11,882: Lauro Ayestaran Collection of Folks Songs and Dances of Uruguay
Two 7-inch tapes of 20 Uruguayan folk songs, children's songs, a Christmas carol, dances, lullabies, and religious songs, a segment of a modern chamber music piece on piano, woodwind, and brass ensemble, and a segment of a traditional piece for piano. Recorded by Lauro Ayestaran at an unknown location, on an unknown date. (45 minutes; original tape on LWO 3346; tape copy on LWO 12,523)
