Access: Permitted; subject to P&P policy on serving originals.

Reproduction (photocopying, hand-held camera copying, photoduplication and other forms of copying allowed by "fair use"): Restricted. In providing photographs for the Library's collections Mr. Lyon has stipulated that "for any reproduction rights, digital or print, please contact the photographer's agent."

Publication and other forms of distribution: Restricted. Danny Lyon's photographs are protected by copyright. Works created after January 1, 1978 are protected for the creator's life plus 70 years. (See P&P Collection Files.) In addition, in providing photographs for the Library's collections, Mr. Lyon has stipulated that they may not be copied in any form without his permission.
