Artworks by Julie Byrne are protected by copyright, with the exception of her print "Rose petals" which is in the public domain. The artist requests that she be notified of any publication of "Rose petals." Privacy and publicity rights may apply.

Access: Permitted; subject to P&P policy on serving originals.

Reproduction (photocopying, hand-held camera copying, photoduplication and other forms of copying allowed by "fair use"): Permitted, subject to P&P policy on copying, which prohibits photocopying of original prints and drawings.

Publication and other forms of distribution: Restricted. With the exception of her print "Rose petals" which is in the public domain, works by Julie Byrne are protected by copyright. Works created after January 1, 1978 are protected for the creator's life plus 70 years. In providing "Rose petals" for the Library’s collections, Ms. Byrne has stipulated that it is in the public domain; however, she has requested notification when publishing or exhibiting this work.
