Secure Credential Production Process

From design to delivery to the integration of complex secure credential systems, GPO is fast becoming recognized as the provider of choice for the most secure credentials in Government today.

Design
GPO designers are certified in the use of proprietary security software. With it, they combine overt and covert security features, creating multi-layered designs that are both secure and beautiful.

Printing
Credential security is enhanced with precision printing and custom-formulated inks, paper, and polymers.

Manufacturing
Sheets of security materials are collated and laminated, fused at temperatures up to 356°. The sheets are then punched, forming credential cards ready for personalization.

Personalization
A variety of personalization technologies, including thermal transfer, laser engraving, and embossing, are available to add PII to the surface of the credential, while the same data is loaded to any electronics embedded within.

Delivery
Personalized credentials can be affixed to pre-printed or demand-printed letters or inserts, then readied for shipment to the customer or for direct mailing to end-users.

Secure Credential Systems Integration
Beyond full-spectrum credential production, GPO also acts as a secure credential systems integrator. GPO identifies best-in-breed security hardware and software, as well as industry best practices for enrollment, adjudication, and issuance. Training and operating procedures for end-users and credential examiners may be also be recommended.
