CIRCULAR LETTER NO. 834January 4, 2012 TO: Printing and Publishing Officials of the Federal Government SUBJECT: Rider Requisitions for the Government Auditing Standards 2011 revision, commonly known as the Yellow Book The Government Printing Office (GPO) is now accepting rider orders for the Government Accountability Office (GAO) 2011 revision of Government Auditing Standards, commonly known as the Yellow Book. This new document supersedes the July 2007 revision of Government Auditing Standards. The revision (GAO-12-331G) applies to all audits done in accordance with Government Auditing Standards. This document will be available electronically on GAO's Internet site. The estimated rider rate is approximately $1.75 per copy; this applies to single destination, local delivery. Mailing charges, if incurred, will be added to your account. Requisitions (SF-1s) should be submitted by one of the three following methods: mailed to Customer Services, Agency Publishing Services, Communications & Status Center (COMSTAT), Mail Stop CSA, U.S. Government Printing Office, Washington, DC 20401; faxed to (202) 512-1260 or, e -mailed to requisition@gpo.gov by January 25, 2012. Please be sure to indicate GAO requisition number 2-00023 and GPO Jacket No. 373-758 on your requisition. Field or regional activities should coordinate their requirements with their Washington, DC area headquarters’ printing officers before submitting any paperwork.
