We're going to define intelligence as having knowledge. You are smarter than someone if you know more things than them.

If we assume that is true, then you can also say that being more intelligent is someone is NOT knowing LESS. So, because there is an infinite amount of space in our universe, and maybe others, there is an infinite amount of knowledge that nobody can know (we can't comprehend infinity anyway). Therefore, everyone is equally intelligent because we all DON'T know everything.

Oh, also, I wasn't aware about all infinities being equal. Do you mean that the infinite amount of numbers above 1 is 1 more than the infinite amount of numbers above 2? Please explain to an ignoramus.

Precisely! A perfect way to make oneself feel better about being a piece of crap.

Now, if we take away the assumption that intelligence is knowledge (which I'm quite aware that it isn't), you have empirical factors which are definable and comparable. Without that definition, however, we can all just feel much better about ourselves!

XD you just un-assumed my assumptions, which is just ONE of the places where my comment falls apart.

Minutephysics, please do a video about the recent "breakthrough" in being able to go below absolute zero. All of the articles out there don't do a very good job of explaining whats actually going on and what I've learned in school tells me that this isn't possible. I'm confused!

By this line of logic, we're all equally wealthy, too.

Lol I didn't mean "equation" to one, I don't review my comments and I type to fast. Second, 0/0 can approach any finite number or infinity or -infinity. Now go sleep and don't troll all night.

    Because of resistance?

Air can be moved through with little resistance, move your arm through the air and you'll see, the faster you go the more resistance you can feel pushing back.

Then try the same with water, you will find that it is much harder to do so.

That's a very basic reason, there are many others such as the forms of propulsion and the conservation of energy that planes use.

Horrible logic. First intelligence and knowledge are separate. Intelligence is essentially the ability for cognitive reasoning, where as knowledge is the familiarity with concepts, objects, events, etc. Second your original definition of smarter is knowing more things, which is still possible under the assumption that there is an infinite amount of things people don't know, much how 2 > 1 even though there are an infinite number of numbers greater then both. As well not infinities are equal.

Can you make a video about why it takes longer for a ship to travel from one continent to the other, while for an airplane, it only takes hours? Does physics have to do with anything about it?
