The following is a list of all web archive collections developed by or in partnership with the Library of Congress. These are in various stages of production; researcher access is available for completed collections through the Library of Congress Web Archives public site. Active collections (i.e. currently collecting websites) are marked with a "".

U.S. Elections Web Archives

Since 2000, the Library has archived websites related to the U.S. presidential, congressional, and gubernatorial elections.

Law Library Web Archives

The Law Library of Congress has archived web content documenting changes in the Supreme Court. They have also developed a selective collection of authoritative legal blogs associated with American Bar Association approved law schools, research institutes, think tanks, and other expertise-based organizations.

Single Sites Web Archive

The Library has experimented with approaches for archiving websites unrelated to a specific theme or event. During this ongoing project, the Library's Recommending Officers select born-digital content to enhance and expand the Library's traditional analog holdings. Access to archived content is available for some, but not all, of the selected content.

Collaborations

The Library of Congress also collaborates with other organizations to document events unfolding in the United States and around the world. Access is provided through partner websites. We have contributed to the following archives:

A Cooperative Web Archiving Project, sponsored by the NDIIPP and managed by the Web Archiving team, enlisted experts from the Library's curatorial divisions to identify international and national high-value collecting areas, with a focus on foreign countries experiencing volatile political situations. The Library experts were asked in early 2007 to identify scholarly centers, or partner institutions, with recognized expertise in the collecting areas, to assist in the collection and preservation of important at-risk materials.
