compare this shot with the link posted by rlb.no. Less ice? it seems to me that most of the ice on the valley wall facing us in this picture is totally missing in the more current (2007) shot. Global warming? just another one of Earth's macro cycles? Any thoughts?

The comparison is terrific! The glacier is almost completely melted. And 100 yrs are nothing in earth story.... We have here a proof of global warming, I suppose.
