I am kept current on what is happening on an up to the minute real time basis. Phenomenal access to news and issues important to me. This has got to be the best invention since Democrats took over the White House! Oh! That was convention! Nonetheless great info from the source. Get it.... - January 24, 2013 - Version 2.0.1 I decided to check on the running in the background situation and it seems to just be for push notifications (only one process was running, it was labeled as such, and it used as much resources as other apps that had it). As for resources, it can hardly be called a data hog when its usage can be compared to standard web browsing and most apps. For actual function, its well-designed and it somehow informed me of events I didn't know about even when I'm on president's spam list. Note: it is just notifications, turning it off within the app stops it from running in the background. |
