New Limited Access Dataset: ARDSNet02: Efficacy of Corticosteroids as Rescue Therapy for the Late Phase of Acute Respiratory Distress Syndrome (LaSRS).
Since previous reports suggested that corticosteroids may improve survival, this project was developed as a multicenter, randomized controlled trial of corticosteroids in patients with persistent

New Limited Access Dataset: ARDSNet05: Fluid and Catheter Treatment Trial (FACTT):
This study evaluated the relationship of benefits and risks of PACs patients with established acute lung injury in a trial comparing hemodynamic management guided by a PAC with hemodynamic management guided by a central venous catheter (CVC) using an explicit management protocol.

New Limited Access Dataset: Viral Activation Transfusion Study (VATS):
This study compared the effects of leukoreduced and unmodified RBC transfusions on survival, complications of acquired immunodeficiency syndrome, and relevant laboratory markers in HIV-infected patients.
