The Continental Congress Broadside Collection (253 titles)
and the Constitutional Convention Broadside Collection (21
titles) contain 274 documents relating to the work of Congress
and the drafting and ratification of the Constitution.

Evolution of the Conservation Movement, 1850-1920
Documents the historical formation and cultural foundations
of the movement to conserve and protect America's natural
heritage. It consists of 60 books and pamphlets, 140 Federal
statutes and Congressional resolutions, 34 additional legislative

Congressional Record, 360 Presidential proclamations, 170
prints and photographs, 2 historic manuscripts, and a two-part
motion picture.

James Madison Papers
This collection consist of approximately 12,000 items captured
in some 72,000 digital images. They document the life of
the man who came to be known as the "Father of the
Constitution" through correspondence, personal notes,
drafts of letters and legislation, an autobiography, legal
and financial documents, and miscellaneous manuscripts.
Louisiana
Purchase: Legislative Timeline 1802-1807
This timeline examines the role of Congress in the Louisiana
Purchase from 1802 to 1807, including ratification of the
treaty, establishment of a territorial government, confrontation
with Spain over boundary issues, and its limited role in
the Lewis and Clark Expedition.
The
Nineteenth Century in Print: Books
The books in this collection date mainly from between
1850 and 1880 and were digitized by the University of Michigan
as part of the Making of America project. Includes a selection
of Congressional and Executive Branch documents and reports
from this time period.

Thomas Jefferson Papers at the Library of Congress
Contains correspondence, commonplace books, financial account
books, and manuscript volumes. The collection is organized
into nine series or groupings, ranging in date from 1606
to 1827.
