Collection Description (CRHP): Topics include the Ku Klux Klan, the Baptist Church, race relations, desegregation, African American businesses, the Baptist Generation Convention of Texas, and labor unions.

Collection Description (Extant): Since its founding in 1970, the Institute for Oral History has completed over 800 memoirs comprising more than 1,800 oral history interviews. The Institute has created transcripts of all interviews in the collection, and these transcripts are available to researchers and the public in PDF format.
