Advocacy is an independent voice for small business within the federal government and is the watchdog for the Regulatory Flexibility Act (RFA). Advocacy advances the views and concerns of small business before Congress, the White House, the federal agencies, the federal courts and state policy makers.

Deadline Extended for New Research Proposals

The Office of Advocacy seeks researchers to perform economic research via a request for quotations (RFQ). The deadline for submitting proposals is Friday, February 8th at 4 p.m. Eastern.

The four proposal solicitations and synopses are listed in FedBizOpps (www.fbo.gov). Research on four topics are:
• Small Business Access to Capital Using Data Sets (SBAHQ-13-Q-0003)
• Data Gaps in Measuring Small Business Dynamics (SBAHQ-13-Q-0004)
• Entrepreneurship in an Aging America (SBAHQ-13-Q-0005)
• Support for Small Manufacturers (SBAHQ-13-Q-0006)
