Email and Phishing - How to report email scams.

Regular Mail - If you receive something suspicious in the mail claiming to be from the U.S. Treasury, report it to the Inspector General:

Identify Theft and Taxes - How to report identify theft that may affect your tax records or tax refund. (IRS)

Suspected Tax Fraud - How to report suspected tax fraud. (IRS)

Home Affordable Modification Program - To report illicit activity involving the Home Affordable Modification Program, dial the SIGTARP Hotline at 1-877-SIG-2009 (1-877-744-2009).
 
Financial Products - How to file a complaint about a specific financial company in reference to a mortgage, credit card, bank account, or other financial product. (Consumer Financial Protection Bureau - not a Treasury Bureau.)
 
Inspector General - How to report suspected fraud, waste, abuse of authority,  any suspicious acts relating to the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009, danger to public health and safety relating to Treasury programs, allegations of criminal activity or serious misconduct of Treasury employees.  (Inspector General Hotline)
 
Inspector General/IRS - How to report suspected fraud, waste, mismanagement, and abuse relating to IRS programs and operations.  (Treasury Inspector General for Tax Administration - TIGTA)
 
SIGTARP - to report allegations of fraud, false claims, misconduct, misrepresentation  relating to the Troubled Asset Relief Program use one of these:

Counterfeits -  How to report suspected counterfeit money.  (Secret Service - not a Treasury Bureau)

Coins - Consumer alerts about product authenticity. (U.S. Mint)
 
Securities - Known scams that involve what are claimed to be securities issued or backed by the Treasury Department or another part of the United States Government. (Bureau of the Public Debt).
