WASHINGTON D.C. - U.S. Senator John Boozman today issued the following statement in support of global life-saving vaccines.

"Investments by the United States, both public and private, to deliver lifesaving vaccines to children in developing countries are helping our future trading partners to develop productive societies. As Americans, we all should be proud to support such humanitarian initiatives that are working to spread American goodwill, and build allies in developing countries," Boozman said. "The Shot@Life campaign, which partners with civic groups such as Rotary, and faith groups around the country, including Arkansans, to deliver these life-saving medicines to children around the world are helping to achieve clear and measurable success. Cases of Polio have decreased globally by 99 percent, and I have witnessed first-hand the large impact, through small investments that Americans are making on the hearts and minds of families in developing countries."
