About the Federal Acquisition Fellows Coalition

Welcome to a new program, the Federal Acquisition Fellows Coalition (FAFC), designed to help you explore a dynamic and stimulating way to find the right job to help jumpstart your career in acquisition. FAFC makes it easy for you to discover everything you need to know about careers in acquisition - from available paid internships and jobs to a variety of career benefits and training opportunities. 

In 2007, the Federal Acquisition Institute (FAI) was tasked with raising the visibility of the acquisition career field, specifically that of the contracting professional, on behalf of the entire Federal government. This task ultimately led to the creation of the Federal Acquisition Fellows Coalition (FAFC), which pulls together in one location agency acquisition intern, and other career development programs. In addition, the FAFC provides access to other valuable career tools, to assist the job seeker in finding the best place to start their future in the field of acquisition.

The FAFC encompasses positions at every stage of an acquisition career across multiple Federal agencies. Whether you are a graduating college student or an experienced professional looking to change careers, you can find an outstanding and exciting opportunity through FAFC.

Job Rotation Program Opportunities

Job Rotation Opportunities for Acquisition Professionals

Do you want to enhance your experience and skills? Candidates for contracting jobs are in high demand throughout the Federal Government. This means there are a wide variety of opportunities at multiple levels for professionals to consider moving into for career growth.

Some agencies have short-term positions as a "Detailee" or rotation assignment available. These opportunities will provide you the chance to participate in a job rotation with new clients, projects and challenges to help you develop your contracting skills.
