Veterans and Military Families
Serving those who have served our country is an important way to positively impact the quality of life of veterans and improve military family strength. Veterans and military families are one of six focus areas outlined in the Corporation for National and Community Service 2011-2015 Strategic Plan. Within this focus area, the Corporation's objectives are to:
- Increase the number of veterans and military service members and their families served by CNCS-supported programs
- Increase the number of veterans and military family members engaged in service provision through CNCS-supported programs
