The U.S. Army Medical Information Technology Center, designs, develops, deploys and sustains information management and information technology systems worldwide. As the operational arm of the Army Surgeon General in executing IM/IT strategy, we research, evaluate and integrate leading-edge technology to provide our customers with solutions to support the joint medical mission. While managing the corporate IM/IT infrastructure of the U.S. Army Medical Command, our program management and sustainment teams support a wide range of systems for the DoD and Military Health System, Army Medicine and other government clients.

As the premier enterprise IT service provider for Army Medicine, USAMITC provides the business technology solutions addressing our customers’ information requirements—from automated business processes and reporting systems, to clinical support and logistics systems. Our matrixed organization allows us to rapidly assemble teams of experts to satisfy customer requirements. From systems development and network engineering, to enterprise systems management and services, we operate in all phases of the acquisition life cycle to accomplish our mission.

The path to the future medical force is being paved with IM/IT capabilities, and USAMITC is executing an enterprise IM/IT strategy that is modernizing and improving Army Medicine. A critical part of successful patient care involves supporting the healthcare professionals who staff our medical treatment facilities. USAMITC is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week to assist medical staff at all levels, from the Surgeon General to the Combat Medic.
